Information you choose to share
This website has no contact form. You can choose to contact us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram. We receive the information you send, which may include your name, contact details, social profile, message content and any attachments.
You do not have to make an enquiry. If you do, please share only information relevant to it. Without sufficient contact details or information, we may be unable to respond or help with your request.
How and why we use it
We use information you supply to respond to your enquiry, communicate with you and, where applicable, manage a resulting business relationship.
For ordinary enquiries and business correspondence, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and managing those communications. Where processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering a contract with you, or to perform that contract, we rely on the contractual basis. We retain records where necessary to meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not add enquiry details to a marketing mailing list or use previous enquiries to send marketing or promotional messages.
Website and communication services
The website is hosted by Netlify. Hosting involves processing technical request information, such as an IP address and browser/request details, to deliver the site and support its operation and security. Our legitimate interest is maintaining a functioning, secure website.
Our current website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, third-party embeds, forms or browser storage for non-essential tracking. We have not added a cookie-consent banner because the current site does not use those tracking technologies.
Email and messaging providers process communications through their services. If you choose to use Instagram or WhatsApp, their own privacy practices apply to your use of those platforms. You can read the Instagram Privacy Policy and WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
External providers may operate internationally. Their privacy information explains their own processing locations and arrangements. You can contact us about the providers involved in handling your enquiry.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, any resulting business relationship, and applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the communication and the records involved.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis, UK data-protection law gives you rights to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict its use and receive or transfer certain information in a portable format. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To ask about or exercise your rights, email creators@jpc.media. We may need information to confirm your identity so that we do not disclose personal information to the wrong person.
You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to address your concern.
